East Gippsland Water launches new customer-focused website

Customers and community members visiting East Gippsland Water's website will notice more than just a fresh look following the launch of the organisation's new website recently. The new site was shaped directly by customer feedback and is simpler and more intuitive for users.

Insights from East Gippsland Water's recent customer surveys highlighted the need for easier access to forms, clearer information and simpler ways to connect with the right people across the organisation. These insights helped shape a website focused on customers' most important needs.

The redesigned website will help customers complete common tasks more efficiently and find the information they need, whether they're at home or on the go.

The new website makes it easier to:

  • Access popular information through quick-link buttons
  • Fill in forms with a wider range of forms available to complete online
  • Find information faster with simplified navigation
  • Access an inclusive and user-friendly experience
  • Browse seamlessly across mobile, tablet and desktop devices

The launch marks an important milestone in East Gippsland Water's digital transformation journey.

"We know our customers increasingly expect to access information and services online, and this new website makes that experience simpler, faster and more accessible," said David Radford, General Manager Customer, Community and Communications.

"The new website reflects feedback directly from our community and makes it easier for customers to access the information and services they need, when they need them.

"We're proud to have invested in enhancements that make it easier to do business with us in the ways that matter most to our customers. We are also pleased to have worked with local supplier, James Yeates Websites, to build our site following a competitive tender process."

Mr Radford said the website would continue to evolve as customer needs change.

"This is just the beginning. We're already planning additional features, including a live chat function and other enhancements that will further improve the customer experience."

East Gippsland Water encourages customers to explore the new website and share their feedback to help shape future improvements.
