To assist with land development and subdivision projects, the information below is available.

This Manual contains our procedures and the contributions and fees that apply for water and sewerage services for land development projects. The procedures refer to standard development projects and apply to most development proposals. Requirements for each project are determined on a case-by-case basis.

This manual is general advice for all engineering consultants, contractors, surveyors, developers, landowners, local councils and East Gippsland Water employees involved with water and wastewater services for the land development in East Gippsland.

Accredited Consultants and Contractors

Developers are required to engage East Gippsland Water accredited consultants and contractors to design, supervise and construct any sewerage and water infrastructure to be extended or modified as part of land development applications.

Accredited consultants have the knowledge to design, supervise and organise the construction of the assets to our requirements. Accredited contractors are experienced with our standards and requirements for the construction of works.
